The next evening was when we would initate our plan. It was starting to make me nervous as the day progressed into evening, then night.
I knew Knockout must be feeling my nervousness via the bond because he kept reasuring me our plan would work.
:: It'll work Solace, no one knows about it. ::
Knockout said through our bond.
:: Soundwave cannot hear what we say if we use our bondlink to communicate. Trust me, I've tried. ::
I nod but was nevertheless scared. I couldn't help but think of the worst possible outcomes.
:: We'll start the plan at midnight. ::
It was midnight now. As we walked down the corridor towards the Ground Bridge I couldn't help but be jumpy. My spark raced and my optics were wide. My weapons system was primed just in case but my cannons were not out yet.
:: Solace relax. Stress is not good for our young. This -will- work. It -has- to. ::
:: I cannot help but realize that because I have closed off my creator bond with Father, Starscream knows that something's up. ::
:: Frag! I was afraid that something like this might happen. ::
We walked into the cargo bay where the Ground Bridge was, the doors opening with a soft hiss that caused me to jump. To my horror, there was an all too familiar silver mech standing in front of the currently offline Ground Bridge. Starscream.
"I knew something was off when Solace closed the bond."
Starscream's voice sent shivers running through my frame.
"Solace, go to the console there and activate the Ground Bridge. I'll hold him off."
Knockout pointed to a console near the wall closest to me and I nod shakily as I make a run for it, holding up my arm to fend off a blast from one of Starscream's rockets. My fingers fly across the touchscreen and a few moments later the Ground Bridge hummed to life.
The doors opened with a hiss and as Starscream fought Knockout I look up. It was my sister, probably drawn here by curiousity.
The femme walked in, obviously confused. She moved to my side the instant she saw me.
"Solace, what's going on?"
I could hear the fear and worry in her voice.
"I'll tell you later. Just go. Do whatever you have to to get to safty."
She nodded and immedeately transformed, flying out of the cargo bay. Starscream threw Knockout into the console I had just been working at. Smoke rose from said console and the Ground Bridge deactivated.
I run to my mate's side, seeing the Energon flowing from his helm. I look up when Starscream towers over me. My body quakes when memories ran through my processor. Memories of being tortured over and over again for mistakes that either I had made or weren't mine.
"You traitor! I knew I should have left you and your good-for-nothing sister on Cybertron when I could've."
Starscream's words hurt because I knew he truly believed that. I also knew I could fend him off but that would only get me in more trouble than I already was. I worried what he might do to both myself and Knockout.
"I will let Lord Megatron decide what to do with you." He snarled.
He grabbed a pair of Energon cuffs.
"I am letting Knockout go only because he is our one and true medic. we cannot afford to loose him." Apparently he didn't consider me a medic.
I narrow my optics as he wraps claws around what could only be described as a scruff bar. Oddly only femmes had these.
I wasn't sure where he was planning to drag me off to but I knew it wouldn't be fun. I had a sinking felling as I slowly recognized the course he was taking to get to our dreaded(At least to me) destination. He was taking me to the bridge where Megatron and his son Dark would be. I was surly scrap now.
It was always hard to tell the difference between Dark and Megatron because he was a spitting image of his father but there were a few things that were....off about him. First, he had a different way of ruling the Decepticons, that femmes should be treated the same way as the mechs. The second was that he had the build of a Seeker thanks to his mother, Arachnid.
A few minutes later we reach the Bridge. My frame quaked at the sight of Megatron and his son.
"Father." Dark said as he was the first to turn and see us. Megatron followed soon after.
"You better have a good reason for disturbing me Starscream." He growled.
"I found Solace trying to escape through the Ground Bridge." Pride shone in the Seeker's optics.
"Oh, is this true femme?"
I debated lying to him. Maybe a good one could get me out of this and make Starscream seem like the one who was actually lying. I stood with my head bowed.
"No sir, I would never change factions as long as I'm online. I'm loyal to you and you only Lord Megatron."
I could see the doubt in Megatron's optics.
"Soundwave, please pull up the security footage so we can find out whether Starscream is finally telling the truth."
Well scrap. I'm slag.
A few moments later Soundwave played the seurity footage on his visor. I knew that at that moment I was surly destined for the Matrix.
"You dare lie to your lord and master?!" Megatron bellowed. I flinch at his loud voice, trying to hide my shakes.
"Please Lord Megatron. I do not know what came over me." My voice shook as I spoke.
"I have had enough of your stubborness. I will allow your father to decide how to discipline you."
I look at Starscream and tremble when I see the glint in his optics. The memories of previous tortures replyed behind my optics.
"With pleasure my lord."
Starscream grabs me harshly by the scruff bar.
:: Solace? ::
The way that Starscream dragged me he wouldn't notice my head popping up.
:: Solace what happened? ::
I could feel his worry seep through our bond.
:: Starscream caught us as we activated the Ground Bridge. He let you go because "we need our only meic" ::
:: Is that why I'm back in the medbay -without- you? ::
I vent softly continuing to ignore Starscream's ranting.
:: Yes. I don't know what Father plans to do to me but I know it won't be good. ::
I didn't know what happened until after it did but I knew it was Starscream's doing as the world suddenly and unexpectedly went black.
